Employment

1947-1952

The University of Wrocław: Teacher of English, then lecturer
and senior lecturer in the Department of English. The department
was wound up in 1952 by the Ministry of Education as "the
teaching of English was not necessary".

1952-1963

The University of Poznań. Senior lecturer, then assistant
professor in the Institute of Linguistics (phonetics).

1963-1968

The University of Poznań. Head of the Department of Phonetics.
In 1968 (denounced by a colleague) forced to leave the University
for political reasons. The Department of Phonetics was wound up.

1956-1992

Institute of Fundamental Technological Research. Head of the
Research Unit, then Department, of Acoustic Phonetics.

Since 1992

Professor Emeritus.
